That’s right. It’s already time for another government SHUTDOWN! And, if the democrats CAVE (as they usually do) they will have, once again, bungled an opportunity to reign in Dozing Donald Trump. Get Trump’s attention back on Jeffrey Epstein and compliance with the law he signed almost two months ago ordering the RELEASE of the files. Invading Venezuela (and MURDERING a couple hundred civilians in the process), threatening Greenland (once again) – to the point where NATO countries from Europe are sending troops, and invading Minneapolis with the threat to “call in the military” if Minnesotans don’t stop “harassing” those poorly trained ICE agents – who keep SHOOTING people.

I realize Maria Machado gave you HER Nobel Peace Prize medal (and, disgustingly, you accepted it) but that doesn’t make you someone even the least bit worthy dozing Donald – in your hands it’s worth about as much as that FIFA “peace prize” you so proudly hung around your neck. Yes, peace prizes for what? For policy leading to the DEATHS of hundreds of thousands in countries where USAID used to operate? For ordering the extra-judicial MURDER of over 100 people in the waters of the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific? Or for sending the goons into Minneapolis who MURDERED Rene Good? Do you see the pattern here? Were you wondering why the Nobel Committee came out publicly to point out the Peace Prize is “non-transferable?” You are likely the ONLY person in the world they would have to say that to.

Three more (long) years of this bullshit! I don’t think the U.S. can handle it. You know the Congress is going to once again IMPEACH you once the democrats retake control. And, of course, the cowardly sycophants in the Senate will look the other way to all the death and destruction lying in your wake – but, I can see at least TWO more IMPEACHMENTS – and, I believe, so can you. Which is why you WEREN’T joking when you commented that “we don’t actually need any more elections” – despite claims to the contrary by your sycophantic press secretary – the one who, on her first day, said she wouldn’t LIE. Of course, we all knew that wasn’t true, because she’s YOUR press secretary. She couldn’t hold that job without LYING! Constantly!

I, for one, have to believe your actions, dozing Donald, are totally designed to get Epstein out of the “picture.” I say that a bit facetiously because even you know how many pictures are already in the public “domain” of the two of you – best buddies for something like 15 years. That was such a “swell” birthday card you made for Epstein. You would really have to have some “wonderful secrets” to come up with such a creative idea. You know, the outline of a naked woman! I get why you’re doing everything you can to continue the cover up of YOUR involvement (plus some of your “other” friends – do you actually have any friends?) with Epstein. I mean, people are publicly shouting at you “pedophile protector” – allowing you to “flip them off” as a real sign of being “presidential.” (OBTW – Epstein’s brother would contest he died of suicide – speaking of cover ups)

YOUR people are getting a bit anxious because of the Epstein “cover up” and I’m sure you’re counting on “we the people” having very short “attention spans” so, who knows, your strategy might work. I mean, I’m concerned with your INVASION of Minnesota (apparently Maine is next – you really do want to lose control of Congress, or so it seems) and I really don’t like being a part of (by virtue of MY citizenship) my country routinely MURDERING Venezuelans – not to mention all the people in Africa who’ve died because of your god-awful policies – and, of course, Rene Good. (That’s just a “tip of the iceberg”) Who knows how many have perished in the concentration camps you’ve opened up in some god-awful places? (Where you continue “disappearing” people)

This “flood the zone” strategy which has gone on since day one of Trump 2.0 (once again, dozing Donald in honor of your ability to sleep in front of the cameras during cabinet meetings – even “Sleepy Joe” couldn’t do that) has been counting on “we the people” forgetting “today’s scandal” after tomorrow’s. Off the top of my head I think I can remember SOME of them – but, I”m sure I’ve missed a few. That, of course, is the plan – the Project 2025 plan is we “miss” the ones that are the most important for implementing their fascist takeover.

The easy one is – while the DOJ is investigating the leaders of Minnesota for “insurrection” regarding their public statements urging Minnesotans to protest peacefully. It doesn’t come more “rich” than that. Lest I remind you, Trump you instigated an attempted coup on January 6th, 2021 where a couple THOUSAND rabid Trump supporters attacked (and injured) OVER 150 Capitol and Metropolitan police officers (with 5 dying as a result) and defacing our Capitol building in the process. Well, now Trump (you are) calling Minnesotans “insurrectionists” and encouraging ICE to physically detain those protesters they decide not to SHOOT. Is this IRONY?

What did Trump do with those actual INSURRECTIONISTS? The one “day one” promise he kept was PARDONING over 1500 (many who assaulted – that is ACTUALLY assaulted – police officers) people who attempted to OVERTHROW a free and fair American election. To make matters worse, he has hired some of the INSURRECTIONISTS into the DOJ and now it’s being reported they have hired many of the INSURRECTIONISTS as ICE agents. Supposedly, some of them are/were members of the “Proud Boys” – several who were found guilty of SEDITION – one of the most serious crimes in America (or, likely, anywhere)

As I said, that was on day one – but, the “clown car” hit the ground running as dozing Donald chose – in his words – some of the best and brightest for his cabinet. And, the cowardly GOP confirmed virtually every one of them – including a Secretary of Defense with a history of assaulting women and excessive drinking. What could go wrong? OK, I’ll suggest a few things later. The ONLY nominee who didn’t get confirmed was the one with allegations of “sex trafficking of underage girls.” You’d think Trump would have supported him to the “hilt.” Can you imagine that guy leading the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein?

The big push in the first few months of dozing Donald’s second term was passing the HUGE ($5 TRILLION) tax cut (mostly) for the rich partially paid for by cutting TRILLIONS from Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA. Chuck Schumer originally caved to the republican budget proposals, much to the chagrin of progressives like me (full disclosure: I’ve NEVER been a democrat – but, I vote AGAINST republicans). In the fall, the democrats grew a bit of a spine and refused to vote for the budget without republicans first putting the ACA subsidies back (for at least 3 years) – and, OBTW, republicans SHOULD have agreed – so, now, MILLIONS of Americans are facing HUGE increases in their health premiums – for those who can afford the increases. At least for now that issue is part of the “affordability” crises dozing Donald is calling a “hoax.” (Hasn’t he used that word before?)

Right now, most Americans (I’m guessing) are not thinking about the DAMAGE done by the so-called “DOGE” group of (f)Elon Musk’s junior geeks who were turned loose on the private (sensitive) data of “we the people.” The Social Security administration was DAMAGED which fared better than several other agencies. USAID was, for all intents and purposes, destroyed along with the lives of MILLIONS of people living in the poorest parts of the globe. Agencies investigating Musk were “crippled” – to no one’s surprise (at least the people I know). The Department of Education is being eliminated, HHS is being eviscerated, the EPA is being “cut off at the knees,” and most people aren’t even noticing because the “zone” is too “flooded.”

Destroying a countries education system, attacking it’s “freedom of the press,” going after strategically potential impediments to the “plan” like law firms, and causing the “Oligarchs” to willingly “bend the knee” are key ways for fascists who are implanting a takeover of a democracy. Even a “democratic republic” like the U.S.A. with built in “checks and balances.” By neutering those who are supposed to be checks on their authority, fascists can even take over a country like the U.S.A. where so many of us couldn’t even manage to think this was possible. Especially by someone whose only real attribute is being like a “carnival barker” – but, who willingly is allowing a group of OLIGARCHS to flood him with riches so he’s willing to “go along to get along.” Listening to dozing Donald with one of his “word salads” makes one wonder, “are you sure he doesn’t consume alcohol?” The guy comes across as STUPID.

I know he’s not STUPID – on occasion – but just listening to him makes my stomach crawl. He’s enriched himself, by most accounts, to the “tune” of a couple BILLION – some even say more. He’s squeezed money out of the taxpayers pockets in ways most people can’t even imagine. For example, when his son’s travel the globe “we the people” are paying the bill for the Secret Service agents – while they are doing family business. (Possibly their business expenses as well) Prior to Trump 2.0 all the MAGA’s out there were supremely worried about the budget deficit and/or the national debt. In the BBB republicans raised the debt ceiling by $5 TRILLION and Trump is busy using up all that “free space.” He actually wanted the debt ceiling removed entirely. My guess is this year’s deficit will top $3 TRILLION! And growing!!

I have no idea what the deficit will be this year, but I can imagine invading Venezuela, Minnesota, maybe Colombia, and – OMG I can’t believe I’m about to write this – even Greenland is costly. To listen to Stephen Miller say it, “The U.S.A. can take over Greenland because we have the POWER.” Apparently, he’s unaware of the NATO alliance, which “we the people” are apparently not going to be part of, that is obligated to come to the defense of allies. So, according to Miller, we can simply take Greenland and ignore the FACT all of Europe will be obligated to come to Greenland’s defense. OK, maybe “STUPID” was accurate after all.

Trump is threatening to add a 10% tariff to any country that comes to the aid of Greenland. As if that is going to deter them. Our traditional allies are already in the process of re-aligning pretty much all that they do – out of necessity. Trump has abandoned Ukraine, the Europeans can’t afford to do the same – it is NATO countries in Eastern Europe that Putin has his sights set on – once he conquers Ukraine. As far as I’m concerned Trump’s actions toward Ukraine – ie supporting Putin – makes him a TRAITOR once again. (After all, he did attempt a coup after he lost to Biden in 2020)

I’m seeing evidence of Trump’s tariff policy every time I go to the store. Today, at Costco, jeans I purchased last year (on sale) for $14.99 were $24.99. As we all know, most of our clothing is made in countries which face these tariffs. And, while Trump claims it’s the countries facing the tariffs who pay, the reality is his tariffs are a TAX which ultimately is paid for by the U.S. consumer. These tariffs are creating lasting DAMAGE to our country and its economy. For example, the Canadians are making deals with the Chinese. In fact, it’s the Chinese who are benefiting most by Trump’s tariff policy. This is another of those issues which are hard to keep up with. Many people I know think the economy is ripping along because of the rising stock market. However, it appears to me the chasm between Wall Street and Main Street is as large as it’s been in my lifetime.

While all this is stuff “we the people” are trying to wrap our minds around, the thuggery continues on the streets of Minneapolis. Trump has doubled down on the number of poorly trained ICE agents roaming Minneapolis’ streets and “we the people” are paying for a Gestapo like force attacking … US! That makes no sense to me which is why I’ve already messaged my representatives in Congress (both the House and the Senate) to refuse to vote for the impending budget without getting cutbacks in the ability of ICE to torment our people. (Sadly, my democratic House representatives has already voted with the republicans to pass THEIR budget)

Final Thought: If democrats allow this budget to pass as the republicans want it – that will cause even more irreparable DAMAGE. They MUST demonstrate they understand the significance of resisting Trump 2.0. They made their point in the last shutdown about the importance of the ACA subsidies – it’s now time to make a point about how “we the people” don’t want to be defending ourselves from our own government. I’ll say it once again, Trump and Project 2025 are FASCISTS! (by definition) They’ve adopted Nazi tactics and it’s up to “we the people” to defend our republic. And, I believe we can do so by mobilizing in massive numbers (MAGA’s invited) to vote out the Congressional republicans and ultimately to put a stop to the Trump/Project 2025/OLIGARCH attempted destruction of our constitutional order! Stay tuned!!!

Usually it takes a bit of thought to figure out how desperate Trump is, but not nowadays. He really wants people to be focused away from Jeffrey Epstein, and he’s in “high gear” in how to do this. It’s like a rat being cornered. And, of course, our “Mainstream Media” (MSM) gets sucked in, hook line and sinker, every time he does this – although his present actions are threatening world peace and the world economy. Just tonight it was reported by Jay Powell, the head of the Federal Reserve bank, that Trump’s DOJ has filed grand jury subpoenas with the potential purpose of making a criminal charge against Powell.

The irony, of course, is that Trump is a 34 times convicted FELON plus he’s the most outrageously corrupt president in the country’s history. It’s been reported he’s improved his wealth by several BILLION dollars in just the first year of Trump 2.0. And, anyone who believes he’s satisfied with a few BILLION is fooling themselves. Trump wants to be in the category of some of his BILLIONAIRE sycophants (Musk, Zuckerberg, Ellison, Thiel, Tim Cook, etc. etc. – the rich guys who keep sucking up to him in order for themselves to get richer. Yep, we’ve devolved into an full on OLIGARCHY – and Trump wants in on the action. (This, of course, has happened over a period of years)

In his first term, Trump’s inclinations were mitigated by some people who actually believe in the constitution. The lesson he learned was the second time around the only job requirement to be part of his administration would be unfettered loyalty. And, he’s got a conglomerate of CEO’s and other rich people – those who participated in writing Project 2025 – who absolutely DON’T believe in our constitution, they don’t believe in our system of laws, and, in essence, they don’t believe in “democracy.” (We, naturally, are a “Democratic republic. At least for now) We have a system of “checks and balances” the GOP has figured out how to get around and, unless it’s too late already, “we the people” have one more chance at the polls to put a stop to our country’s turn into FASCISM. Reminder: The foundation of FASCISM is a government/corporate partnership!

This move against the Fed – Trump just couldn’t wait until May when Powell’s term expires as the Fed’s “chair” expires – has the potential to undermine the markets all these BILLIONAIRES view as determining if our economy is healthy. However, from my perspective, nothing could be farther from the truth. From my experience when the “Market” is surging forward and “Main Street” is struggling it’s just a matter of time until we experience a CRASH. Additionally, again from my non economist viewpoint, Trump is dangerously close to causing those who follow “data” to lose confidence in its accuracy because it would surprise virtually no one (who matters) that Trump is going to “cook the books” once he’s “desposed” of Chairman Powell.

Trump would like to see interest rates back to around ZERO – which is what happened after the republican Great Recession of 2007 – 2008. They stayed close to that number all the way through Trump 1.0, but his COVID fiasco and the challenge of getting “we the people vaccinated, (a near miraculous undertaking of the Biden administration) restarting the economy, and – of course – Putin’s decision to ILLEGALLY invade Ukraine led to a spike in inflation causing the Fed to increase interest rates – and, by the way, nothing compared to the 18% (or so) rates during the first term of Reagan. Many of America’s young people were tricked into voting for Trump in 2024 and, well, here we are.

We’re witnessing in real time the DAMAGE one person can do if they can manage to LIE themselves into the “White House.” Trump’s main attribute is he’s a polished CON MAN who has full on adopted the propaganda techniques of Hitler, Goebbels, and the Third Reich in Germany pre WW II. Trump REALLY does want to get the public dialogue off of the Epstein files. It doesn’t take a lot of imagination as to why if you’ve paid any attention to what is already part of the public domain. And, it’s entirely possible, from my perspective that Trump could cause BOTH another Great Recession (or depression) and WW III.

He’s got our traditional European allies on the edge of their seats over his threats toward Greenland. Should he follow through on his threats we could be at war with our own “friends.” Makes one wonder WHEN are the republicans in Congress going to come to their senses. Are they going to wait until it’s too late? As I’ve been saying since before Trump took the oath (OK, LIED about his oath while refusing to put his hand on the Bible for some reason) he’s going to do whatever it takes to prevent “we the people” from voting in democratic control of Congress in 2026. He KNOWS as soon as the House is controlled by democrats he will be IMPEACHED for the third time. Hell, they may IMPEACH him every time he commits another unlawful action – I mean, it would be hard to decide on the reason for the next IMPEACHMENT because there’s such a bevy of choices.

I do not doubt he figures if we’re involved in a WAR he’ll be able to find a way to prevent “we the people” from a “mid-term” election. He started his attempt to prevent republicans from losing when he, essentially, ORDERED Texas to gerrymander another five “republican seats” for the next election – only to see Gavin Newsome do the same for democrats in California. And, now the polls are so bad for Trump he’s definitely like the rat in the corner. I’ll give him this, Trump has no limits on what he’ll do to protect his role as a Putin like president. At this point, there can be no denying Putin either has “kompromat” on Trump or is simply his idol.

Putin is considered the head of the largest organized crime syndicate in the world. Russian OLIGARCHS are spread around the globe and can do nothing without the approval of Putin – who many consider the actual “world’s richest man.” Maybe that has changed since Putin’s ill-advised incursion into Ukraine, but Trump is clearly acting as if him and Putin are “blood brothers.” Trump is so STUPID he could be taking his “invading sovereign nations” strategy to even another level. Apparently, he thinks, for example, that China will quietly ignore his excursions.

China relies on Venezuela for some of its oil and the United States relies on China for their “rare earths.” Pinch me if I’m dreaming, but China could cause MAJOR economic disasters in the U.S. – and, to me, they’ve just been waiting for their opportunity to advance past the U.S. as an economic power. They are LOADING up on “precious metals” like Gold and Silver – apparently in anticipation of Trump torpedoing the DOLLAR as the world’s main currency. All this to prevent “we the people” from finding out the TRUTH about Trump’s involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring.

Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, and – why not? – Brazil. Or even Canada. Invasions of those sovereign country’s should, I’m sure in Trump’s mind, create too much turmoil to keep Epstein on everyone’s minds. And, now, an attack on America’s central bank – the Fed and, by extension, Jerome Powell – should create an economic “firestorm” large enough to get people thinking about their own bank accounts and NOT the Epstein files. Keep in mind, the DOJ has released less than 1% of the files and we’re almost one month past the DEADLINE. Maybe Trump is thinking if “we the people” insist on uncovering his escapades with Epstein, he’ll ruin all our lives by tanking the entire economy. It wouldn’t hurt him – in fact, during times of economic stress, these rich BILLIONAIRES get even richer.

Watch the videos of Trump with Epstein (those made public so far – there are rumors of videos not suitable for publication to “we the people.”), look at the photos in the public domain of the two together, and read Trump’s birthday wishes to Epstein on Epstein’s 50th birthday. If that doesn’t give you enough info, then you’re likely not going to believe any of the stuff which will ultimately come out. But the reality is there WAS a pedophile ring going on in America and it wasn’t controlled by the democrats. My guess is, when the smoke clears, there will be democrats AND republicans (including Trump) who will be part of the pedophile wall of SHAME. And, Trump shouldn’t get a “pass” simply because he’s the (out of control) president with 34 FELONY convictions. As the saying goes, he “LIES like a rug.” Lord help us! Stay tuned!!!

Final Thought: I feel like I’m saying this until “I’m blue in the face” – but, here we go once more. I mentioned above that Trump has adopted the propaganda strategy of “Hitler, Goebbels, and the Third Reich” which, to me, should be obvious. I keep hoping someone connected to the MSM would pick up on this and start reporting on it so they can back up claims Trump and Project 2025 are devolving “we the people” into FASCISM.

The main “strategy” Trump (and, by extension, virtually the entire GOP) uses is the “Big Lie Theory” which comes right out of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf.” The expression (theory) was used by Hitler to describe how people could be induced to believe such an absurd lie because they would not believe that someone “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.” (and, repeatedly) Take, for example, “the 2020 election was stolen.” A stunning percentage of republicans still believe that – while also believing the elections of all their representatives in Congress were “on the up and up.” Go figure!

The other technique Trump has used (is using ALL THE TIME) is “projection.” This, again, comes right out of Mein Kampf. While Joseph Goebbels is often credited with mastering the art of propaganda, the persuasive power of projection is embedded in Hitler’s Mein Kampf – “denounce in your opponent what you intend to do yourself.” Or as some have said, “An accusation is really an admission of guilt.” We see Trump, and his republican sycophants, using this technique on virtually a daily basis. Why do they do it? Because it works! Why doesn’t the MSM pick up on this and call it out? For that question I have no answer! Yikes!!!

I’ve been calling Trump a fascist (or, if you prefer, a wannabe mob boss) for almost 10 years now. When you read books about his life prior to that infamous walk down the escalator, you see a man who’s been lying and cheating his entire adult life. Before his Atlantic City Casinos declared bankruptcy he was involved in laundering foreign money regularly enough that his Casino was sanctioned (Much of it from Russians). Trump has managed to avoid legal accountability for his mob like behavior since (probably before) he reached adulthood – managing to LIE about “bone spurs” to avoid military service back in the Viet Nam days which SHOULD make him unqualified to EVER be considered America’s “commander in chief.” But, here we are.

So, now, Trump has been MURDERING Venezuelans in small boats in the Caribbean or Eastern Pacific for a few months alleging they were “narco-terrorists” – whatever that means. Even if these PEOPLE had drugs on their boats these boats weren’t headed to the United States – but, even if they were, extra-judicial EXECUTIONS really amount to MURDER. As I’ve pointed out here, the real irony is these MURDERS were carried out by “Seal Team Six.” Hopefully, you were paying attention to Trump’s claim back when the SCOTUS was stretching the law by giving Trump “absolute immunity.” (This would mean, according to Trump’s own lawyer, the only way to give him “accountability” would be IMPEACHMENT and CONVICTION in the Senate. And, by the way, the military personnel get no pass because they were “just following orders”)

Now, today, once again an American citizen lost her life at the hands of a reckless ICE agent who then LIED about what happened. Subsequently, and not surprising, both Kristi Noem and Trump, himself, began LYING before we even knew the name of the young MOM who had been MURDERED. This Trump administration isn’t worried a bit about how many innocent Americans are going to get MURDERED because of their disgusting policy – just take a moment to listen to Stephen Miller who sounds like an unambiguous, unapologetic NAZI as he comments on both foreign policy AND domestic policy.

The Trump administration not only is responsible for MURDERING those on the boats headed toward Suriname – (the boats in the Caribbean) NOT headed toward the U.S. but it’s also been reported there were approximately 80 PEOPLE killed in the INVASION of Venezuela (hopefully, by now, Trump can locate it on a map) for the announced purpose of STEALING Venezuela’s natural resources – er, capturing Maduro. It’s not only the OIL, but there are many other resources the Trump administration and his BILLIONAIRE benefactors want to STEAL from that South American country. Trump hasn’t been shy about claiming Venezuela’s OIL is really our OIL. (Little) Marco Rubio has come right out and said the Venezuelan’s don’t have the right to sell their resources to countries we don’t approve. But, they’ll likely treat us as “liberators.”

So, we placed sanctions on Venezuela beginning in 2006 – which we seem to do if we don’t like another country’s policy. Well, the Chinese were happy to fill the void and have been purchasing what oil Venezuela’s been able to produce and, I believe Cuba was also purchasing Venezuelan oil. Does that give the United States the right to MURDER people in small outboard motor boats and to INVADE the country and arrest the president and his wife on “narco-terrorist” charges? Nuts! Lest I remind you of Juan Orlando Hernández, former president of Honduras, who was PARDONED by Trump despite being found GUILTY of importing between 400 and 500 TONS of Cocaine into the United States. Wouldn’t that make him a “narco-terrorist?” OK, details!

So, today, as mentioned above, an ICE agent chose to MURDER a young mother of a six year old child because they didn’t like the FACT she was alerting members of the neighborhood about their presence. This happened close to where George Floyd was MURDERED (I’m surprised Trump hasn’t pardoned his murderer as of yet – probably because of the state charges he has no power over) and, in a like manner, there was a witness who videotaped the entire encounter and there appears to be NO justification for this ICE officer to even have his weapon drawn. My guess is Trump will have his alleged MURDERER removed from the city and we’ll never know who did the SHOOTING. He might be able to be identified by his hairline. They all wear masks and are almost unidentifiable. After he MURDERED the mother, Trump claimed she drove over the ICE agent and that he was in the hospital and “is going to be OK.” When you look at the video this MURDERER walks slowly toward the victims crashed car – then slowly walking back toward the other officers suggesting they call “911.” The video is EXTREMELY disturbing. ICE is EXTREMELY disturbing. Although the MURDERER doesn’t seem disturbed at all!

When you listen to Trump and listen to Miller and you pay attention to the Project 2025 puppet masters it is disheartening to me that our so-called “liberal media” continues REFUSING to call these people the FASCIST Nazi’s that they are. The “brownshirts” (ICE) make up the largest military police force in the world with a budget of something like $150 BILLION and the rhetoric coming from our “leaders” is that of something resembling the Third Reich of the Germans back in the 1930’s. They’ve started with Venezuela, Trump is signaling Colombia will be next, he mentioned Cuba, and, once again, GREENLAND. As if we NEED to take GREENLAND for national security purposes. The TRUTH is, Trump and his BILLIONAIRE bros behind the “AI boom” want Greenland’s natural resources apparently without paying for them.

Trump has screwed the American farmers – including the beef farmers who were, after years, actually making money – by throwing $40 BILLION to his buddy in Argentina (saving a few BILLIONAIRE benefactors for their poorly thought out investments in the process) – enough money to solve the ACA price increase crisis – why? Because “he (The Argentine dictator) needs it.” (Meaning Argentina’s president Javier Milei – the guy who gave (f)Elon Musk (he of the Sieg Heils) the chainsaw at a republican conference – you probably saw on TV. Here’s what Trump and the Project 2025 puppet masters want – an entirely compliant North and South America – to whatever they consider OK. Yep, that means Mexico, Canada, Brazil, etc. etc. Step out of line and we’ve got more room at the notorious jail where they took Maduro and his wife.

What’s it going to take before our Mainstream Media (MSM) starts calling this out for what it is? These people are worse than “authoritarians.” They’re Nazi’s. They’re FASCISTS. They’re MURDERERS. I can only hope there are people “memorializing” everything that is happening. I’m still holding out hope that I will live long enough to see Trump behind bars – and, that would include all of his sycophants who are participating in this ILLEGAL behavior. Are “we the people” going to stand for this? Trump is doing this in ALL our names. NATO members are planning on how to proceed without the U.S. as an ally. NATO has kept the world safe since WW II – but Putin hates it. Are our cowardly republicans simply going to stand by and say NOTHING? If you saw Lindsey Graham with his “shit eating” grin next to Trump on Air Force one the other day almost wetting his pants in excitement to the possibility of invading Cuba or Iran, you realize how PATHETIC some of these people actually are. If the South Carolinian’s vote him back into office in the 2026 election – SHAME ON THEM!

After it became clear that, with only 1% of the Epstein files released over two weeks past the deadline for ALL of them, Trump’s culpability was increasing fast and furious. Now, that’s for people who couldn’t figure out what happened during their 15 year “best buddy” relationship without written proof – but, I pointed out Trump would do whatever he needed to do to change the narrative. Well, since the murders of the “boat people” and the INVASION of Venezuela there hasn’t been a whole lote of media attention to those who were raping young girls or to how many times Trump was confirmed to have been on Epstein’s plane – the plane he previously said he’d never been on. (the new “count” is EIGHT – my guess is there’s a lot more) I think this ICE murder in Minneapolis today was simply a convenient way to further change the topic – another opportunity for Trump to throw BOLDFACED LIES at their minions. Of course, the videos showed the LIES – but, those who watch Fox “news” and other right wing outlets will never see them. Stay tuned!!!

Final Thought: I’ve just about accepted that our MSM is more than comfortable “chasing their tails” as they’ve fallen “hook line and sinker” for the Trump/Project 2025 “flood the zone” strategy. I’m not the only one who predicted this BEFORE Trump had LIED about his “oath” on January 20th, 2025 (refusing to put his hand on the Bible, by the way – for all you “Christians” supporting him). I’ve also pointed out Trump’s use of the Nazi’s “Big Lie Theory” for YEARS – but, the MSM seems to think that would be too radical to point out. So, with Trump already laying claim to Venezuela’s oil, threatening Columbia (next?), Cuba, Mexico, Canada, and GREENLAND what will it take for our “media” to figure out the right words to use when describing what’s actually happening.

Maybe they should just take a listen to Stephen Miller – descended from Holocaust survivors – if they need a bit of encouragement. Here’s Miller just this past weekend. While on CNN, Stephen Miller said that Trump has Plenary Authority. Plenary authority is the full, complete, and absolute power a governing body possesses to act on a particular issue without any significant limitations. He was talking about BOTH foreign and domestic policy. He likes to talk about how “might makes right” in his racist rants condemning “immigration” – apparently unaware of all the accomplishments since WW II via immigrants. He even suggested Americans “invented the car” – although the first automobile was “invented” in Germany by Karl Benz. It was immigrants who were involved in the Manhattan Project (Atomic Bomb) and sending Americans to the moon. Apparently, Miller has adopted the “Great Replacement theory from the Germans of the 1930’s. (Although, there was no shortage of American Nazi’s back then) Please MSM – call these people out for what/who they are! Yikes!!!

Holy Sh*t! I knew Trump was desperate to change the public narrative away from the Epstein files, but this move into Venezuela was bat sh*t crazy. First of all, one of the first things out of Trump’s disgusting mouth after he posted the news on his second rate Xwitter knockoff was “we’re going to run the country.” Hell, he can’t even run this country. But, the plethora of thoughts funneling through my brain at this point in time are hard to keep up with but I’m going to give it a shot. For starters, does anyone out there remember Iraq – circa 2023? (Or for us old timers, Viet Nam?) That’s one of the most depressing parts of this – but, as usual, there’s more. (Is history repeating itself?)

Picture yourself in the shoes of Xi Jinping of China – he’s probably smiling “all the way to the bank.” Or from the other perspective, picture yourself as those in Taiwan. What do you think Trump is going to say when China takes over Taiwan? And, of course, Trump’s idol Vladimir Putin has to be grinning from ear to ear. This pretty much assures the Russian’s have nothing to worry about when it comes to the U.S. and Ukraine. So much for “peace talks.” Then there’s our European “allies.” I’m supposing they are gearing up for what could be what will seem like a longer three years to them than to what it’s going to seem like to “we the people.” And, the Norwegians? They are certainly now going to give Trump his Nobel Peace prize for sure, right?

And, what about all those pathetic republicans in our Congress? They’ve been enabling this for the past ten years because you have to wonder who they fear the most, Trump or their shadows? They’ve showed a collective will of ZERO when it comes to challenging this so-called 34 times FELONY twice impeached (already) narcissistic, misogynistic, racist president so why start now? (OK, not counting the vote on the Epstein files – but they couldn’t vote against the bill because they figured they could get away with that one – ie choose your verb: scrubbing or redactions.)

Maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene could stick around for an extra week or two so there might be chance for a House vote on whether or not to grant Trump the authority to do what he already DID without authority. Believe me, I haven’t forgotten the 107 alleged “narco traffickers” who were ILLEGALLY executed by the Trump administration (ironically, by “Seal Team Six”), or the confiscated oil tankers, but the invasion of Venezuela and taking over of their government gives an eerie ring to my ears. Trump even went to far to claim it won’t cost Americans a cent (if only Don Rumsfeld was still around) because Trump is referring to Venezuelan oil as if it’s ours. Again, how did that play out in Iraq? But, apparently, the Venezuelan people are happy to have us!

Is anyone but me sick and tired of Trump feeling the (narcissistic) need to put his name on virtually everything? The United States Institute of Peace, the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, there’s now “Trump battleships?,” and now he’s renaming the “Monroe Doctrine” apparently the “Donroe Doctrine.” Does that mean he’s going to keep taking over South American countries? I mean, it seems as if Colombia is next, then Panama? or maybe Brazil – so he can free Bolsonaro – his blood brother in INSURRECTION crime – but be assured it won’t be Honduras.

How can I make that last claim? Well, seeing as how Trump’s rationale for snatching Maduro (and his wife) from Venezuela is they are “narco terrorists,” I sense a bit of Honduran irony. Surely he’s not planning to go back into Honduras to re-arrest one of the worst “narco terrorists” of all time – Juan Orlando Hernández – who was convicted of facilitating between 400 and 500 TONS of Cocaine into the United States and given a 45 year sentence – UNTIL Trump pardoned him. I mean it would take tens of THOUSANDS of those tiny alleged “drug boats” to get anywhere near that into – well, anywhere (if they were drug boats) – and, keeping in mind those boats weren’t even headed, for the most part, to the U.S. The boats in the Caribbean were headed to Suriname – the opposite direction of the U.S. But, I guess, who’s worried about details?

After we retake the Panama Canal what’s next? Greenland? I realize that’s in a different hemisphere but Greenland has resources which may rival Venezuela’s (dirty) oil – the so-called “rare earths.” If you remember Trump making HUGE promises to oil executives if they’d simply pony up around a BILLION during the last election he’s come through for them, well don’t kid yourself on the amount of “green” the “tech bros” have been poring his way since (f)Elon Musk (he of the Sieg Heils) ponied up about $300 MILLION plus a plethora of LIES on Xwitter to get Trump elected in the first place – the “rare earths” needed for all their AI data center dreams. You know, their dreams which are going to make your (and my) energy bills nightmares. All, so these tech bros can further manipulate a very vulnerable American public so this fascist takeover can truly take hold. (With a bit of help from AI)

Picture it – the U.S. invading country after country in South America, Putin going after Poland and other former Soviet block countries after Russia finishes off Ukraine, and China taking Taiwan and putting the clamps on Southeast Asia and Africa. A global triumvirate that is the wet dream of the world’s leading fascist dictators. All this because the American people were STUPID enough to think electing a 34 times FELON who attempted a coup only four years earlier and who would be behind bars by now had “we the people” the slightest sense of our own (250 year) history would fix the economy. (And, lead to the release of the Epstein files so all the liberal pedophiles could be exposed)

Don’t get me wrong – our history has been full of dark spots along the way, but slowly and surely “we the people” were inching toward “a more perfect union.” That was before social media and – I have to add – Ronald Reagan, who I believe was the real starting point in America’s slow working tilt toward fascism. Remember, there were MANY fascists in the U.S. during Hitler’s time – some of them famous – and, their children and grandchildren are, in many cases, still with us. I’d love to know the family history of Russel Vought, for example. I know Stephen Miller’s – which makes his role in all this even more disgusting – if that’s possible. His family are Holocaust survivors. I’m convinced Trump’s father, Fred, was at the Madison Square Garden Fascist rally in New York in 1939 – which Trump duplicated in 2024. You can’t make this stuff up!

So, where do we go from here? Are “we the people” going to find ourselves in the streets once again with another “no Kings” protest? Will there simply be spontaneous protests around the country? Are we going to keep tolerating the forces of ICE snatching “legal immigrants” (happened twice in my small city this past week) – people showing up for scheduled hearings? Two Russians were snatched this past week, hard working immigrants with NO reason to be confined – one has a small son battling brain cancer – but, why would that matter? I could’ve NEVER imagined what has transpired this past year – and, I know LOTS of people who voted for it. I even know someone from Colombia who voted for Trump because he didn’t like Kamala Harris. I forgot to ask, did that mean he liked Trump?

As I’ve said here a few times already – I certainly hope there are people documenting – in the words of Robert Mueller “memorializing” – the ILLEGAL actions of Trump and his surrogates who MUST be held accountable once this nightmare is over. I realize the Supremely un-Supreme Court gave Trump “absolute immunity” – or so he believes – but, even if that’s so, they didn’t grant it to Hegseth, Rubio, Miller, Vought, and the rest of them. (I should include Musk in that category) Yes, the Supreme Court – which may go down in history as the number one culprit in America’s fascist movement is culpible. That said, remember the International Criminal Court – WAR CRIMES are war crimes – even if you’re a republican in America.

This slide into fascism actually started with Lewis Powell and his “memo” to the Chamber of Commerce in 1973 – but, his time on the Supreme Court began the tilt toward the blatant push toward the corporate obscenity which exists today. I’ve been saying for much longer than Trump’s time on the scene the foundation to a fascist state is a corporate/government partnership. The basics were there when Sam Alito and John Roberts took their places on the Court and the “floodgates” were opened – quite literally. Citizen’s United back in 2010 is why there’s BILLIONS in our elections – with more on the horizon and much of it foreign money. (I remind you again, Trump made promises to the oil lobby likely leading to this Venezuela crisis in return for a cool BILLION during the campaign)

And, the Court wasn’t done there. They’ve been ruling in favor of corporations ever since – and, their majority is now 6 – 3 (thanks to Moscow Mitch – another republican headed for a legacy in infamy) so, the horizon looks bleak – for at least a generation. (And, knowing our voting public, they may not have had their fill of republicans just yet – only time will tell) The Court is not only voting for corporate interests on a regular basis but they’re also regularly voting AGAINST Voting Rights. They’ve gutted Sections 4 and 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, but it appears they’ve got their sights now set on Section 2. That would virtually guarantee no democrats from the South for YEARS! Keeping in mind the “conservatives” in the Court can typically hold their own on the CORRUPTION front with the rest of the republicans in Congress – although NO ONE has ever held a candle to Trump when it comes to CORRUPTION in America’s government!

Here’s the main question I have tonight. “We the people” proved ourselves incredibly STUPID in this last presidential election (despite the follies of the democrats) by electing a wannabe mob boss with 34 FELONY convictions – who would have had more had we a “lick of sense” – someone who attempted the ONLY coup in the history of the United States government and who STOLE Top Secret documents when he first left office – sharing them with ??? maybe Putin???? plus refused to return them when it was discovered what he’d done – he was going to be found GUILTY on several MORE FELONIES – and, now it’s becoming clear he was up to his eyeballs in Epstein’s pedophilia. The question: Are we STUPID enough to allow Trump to start wars to change the subject on Epstein? I guess the massive redactions weren’t working! Stay tuned!!!

Final Thought: As soon as the first American gets killed in Venezuela – what’s next? Are they going to treat us a “liberators?” Will they gladly give up their oil? Trump has already claimed this venture won’t cost the American taxpayers a cent. Just picture the cost of the war fleet sent to Venezuela’s bordering waters – how many BILLIONS is that? And, all the bombs used to MURDER the 107 alleged “drug boats?” And, the cost of occupying a sovereign nation? It’s going to take a lot of STEALING of Venezuela’s oil to hit the “break even” point. This is the last time I’ll say this tonight (OK, write it) – anyone besides me remember Iraq???

I’ve been a bit remiss to write lately because I’m just getting a bit worn out and definitely tired of writing what seems like the same stuff about Trump every time I put my fingers to the keyboard. Stuff that is obvious to me seems to be hard for our so-called “liberal media” to pick up on – although, it seems to eventually come around. For example, I’ve been pointing out Trump is a fascist for nearly 10 years – and, bit by bit the – I’ll call it the mainstream media (MSM) – is now figuring this out. I mean when they’re (Trump et al) repeatedly making comments like “they’re (meaning black and brown immigrants) poisoning the blood” – almost word for word from Mein Kampf – isn’t that a “clue?” Or, (f)Elon Musk throwing a couple Sieg Heils at Trump’s inauguration and facing virtually NO blowback. Wouldn’t that at least be a “clue?”

Sieg Heils is a German phrase that means hail to victory, but it was used by the Nazi party under Adolf Hitler in World War II and the Holocaust. It is associated with white supremacy and antisemitism, and should never be used in common speech. That is, according to “The Word Counter” which gives the meaning and origin of certain words. It is also commonly referred to as the “Nazi salute.”

So, why should anyone be surprised at the reticence of the MSM needing to see an actual “smoking gun” in order to figure out what was going on with Jeffrey Epstein. We are seeing more and more names but without the details connecting those names to the – using Trump’s own words – “worst of the worst” regarding what was actually happening behind the walls of Epstein’s properties we are left to wonder. (Or, are we?) And, of course, many people are on the edge of their seats awaiting whether or not Trump’s name is in those files. IT IS – and OFTEN! (As in, reportedly, HUNDREDS – if not THOUSANDS – of times)

OK, for starters, we KNOW Trump’s name is in the files – we just don’t know how many times and for what reasons. However, for those Americans with just a bit of ability to put two plus two together we shouldn’t need actual black and white letters in the files to “get” Trump was into Epstein’s “stuff” up to his eyeballs. How could it be any other way? These two were “best friends” for either 10 years or 15 years depending on which one you’re listening to – but, of course, what difference does it make? That they were “competing bachelors” at conquering (my term, I can’t remember the actual one) women what more do you need? (Of course, for much of that time Trump wasn’t a bachelor – but, his MAGAts haven’t seemed to worry about such a “minor” detail while they’re telling the rest of us Trump was chosen by God to save this nation)

We’re now finding out more about Trump’s many times on Epstein’s planes (the planes he’s pretended not knowing about) – of course, according to Trump he didn’t fly on Epstein’s planes at all – and we KNOW that the DOJ has been busy SCRUBBING Trump’s name from these files for a matter of months so did they just miss 8 or so occasions? Were there more? It was reported earlier this year AG Bondi had ordered something like 1000 DOJ lawyers/FBI officials to be working 24/7 to identify where Trump’s name showed up in the files. (Did they just – OK, I’m assuming we all know what they did when they found his name) Do the American people even wonder anymore as to whether we have a pedopresident? Or, for that matter, an actual Department of Justice?

Trump gave his role away when he was describing Epstein many years ago and referred to Epstein as a “pal” and said something like – “He likes beautiful women as much as I do – and, many are on the younger side.” It was during this time period he was on the Howard Stern radio show and agreed to his own “affection” (my term for a word to that effect) toward younger girls (not including 14 year old’s whatever that meant) including his own daughter. And, did you read Trump’s (alleged) “birthday card” to Epstein written back in 2003? (mentioning all their “wonderful secrets”) Putting all that together with available photos and videos and you need to be a republican to have difficulty making the connection between these two horrible people.

After all, it was the MAGAts who were all bent out of shape about the “pedophile ring” which was “involved in our government” – with the inference being we were talking about democrats. To the point where one guy went into a pizza parlor with a long gun and started shooting because he believed this pedophile ring was operating out of the pizzerias basement. (I don’t even know if they had one) So, now we KNOW there WAS a pedophile ring and Trump (and, many other rich people) was right in the middle of it. Trump is now claiming the releasing of these files is “ruining the reputations” of many important people – who just happened to be in a photograph with Epstein. Naturally, the person in the MOST photos is our pedopersident.

Trump willingly gives out Bill Clinton’s name as if that will make the FACT his (Trump’s) name is likely the most predominant name in the files “fly” over the heads of his supporters. It appears Trump has been miscalculating how his supporters are/were reacting to his almost perfect lesson on how to look GUILTY. You could hardly draw it up any better. And, as the DOJ releases the files in the predictable “drip drip drip” manner – in violation of the law passed almost unanimously by Congress – Trump will look GUILTY regardless of how many times his name shows up. (Keeping in mind, a recent email dump coming from the Epstein estate mentioned Trump something like 1600 times!) Again, based on available public documents why would anyone be surprised? I believe those in Congress pushing for the release of these files could care less what party affiliation those involved have – make their names known to the public.

The perpetrators of Epstein’s “ring” deserve to be shamed if that is all which might result from their public exposure. Prince Andrew has been publicly shamed in the United Kingdom (no longer a Prince) and Larry Summers – formerly the president of Harvard and the member of many boards of public companies has been forced to resign numerous positions and has been publicly shamed – and, there’s more to come. I just have to wonder, what will the consequences be for Trump? Keeping in mind Trump NEVER admits to anything (as per Roy Cohn’s advice – a mob lawyer) and seems to be working overtime to shield himself from the fallout.

Public speculation I’ve seen (and shared) is about what will Trump do in an attempt to deflect the public’s attention away from Epstein? So far, he’s ordered the MURDER of over 100 people in boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific – allegedly “drug boats.” This is leading to the next phase – as that first phase isn’t working (other than to leave numerous people – including members of “Seal Team Six” potentially facing criminal charges down the road). The next phase? Would that be the oil blockade on Venezuela? Stephen Miller is claiming we “own” Venezuela’s oil – not kidding. Or, is Trump actually planning another American “war of choice.” Lots of parallels to Iraq! They’re even calling alleged Codaine headed toward Africa “weapons of mass destruction.” (In essence, I’d guess you could say he’s already started one – how would we react to a country KILLING over 100 of our citizens?) Some of the administration’s accusations toward Venezuela aren’t serious. But “we the people” have unserious leaders!

For example, the Venezuela “gang” TdA (Tren de Araqua) is NOT bringing “Tons” of Cocaine into America as claimed by Pam Bondi. By all accounts, the Cocaine coming from Venezuela is headed for Africa or Europe. The country which brought TONS of Cocaine into America was Honduras and the former president of Honduras was CONVICTED in an American court by an American jury of trafficking OVER four HUNDRED tons of Cocaine into this nation. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison. So, does anyone besides me feel a bit confused by the FACT Trump pardoned this dude? 400 – 500 TONS of Cocaine. Now, by that measure, you’d think Trump would be ordering Honduras to be bombed – or something – but NOT pardoning one of the main culprits in the smuggling ring which brought this (400 – 500 TONS of) Cocaine into America.

So, you can call Trump a fascist or you can refer to him as a “mob boss” – but, what he’s not is a politician with the best interests of “we the people” at heart. And, on top of all that, the evidence he was up to his eyeballs in the Epstein stuff continues to mount – and, that’s despite the reality Pam Bondi and the rest of them at the DOJ are slow walking the release of Epstein’s files. And, the reports the DOJ is busy “scrubbing” the files of Trump’s name wherever they can continue to mount. Things have not been looking too good lately for our “sleepy” so-called president and my guess is they’re going to look a whole lot worse in the near future. It almost appears as if Epstein is “the straw that broke the camel’s back” for much of the MAGAts. Stay tuned…..

Final Thought: When I talk about Trump (and his Project 2025 puppet masters) as fascists I just haven’t come to that conclusion based on what someone else said or told me. History is what has defined fascism (even though the dictionaries do as well, and Trump “qualifies” in both instances) and Trump and his administration check virtually all the boxes based on their overt actions. There are parallels between “Trumpism” and Nazism that are undeniable. As mentioned above the language (“poisoning the blood”) and using the “Nazi salute” are pretty convincing for starters. But, on top of that, the white nationalism/Christian nationalism is telling – as Trump’s sycophantic Congress gave him $150 BILLION to send his ICE goons out into the public to round up and throw into concentration camps THOUSANDS of undocumented Americans – mostly based on that they are “black or brown.” And, in the process, making the cruelty be the point.

They have systematically attacked our education system as if to somehow convince “we the people” that if our children learn about our actual history it might make some of them feel bad – so we’ll simply rewrite history. (And, OBTW – they’re doing that with January 6th, 2021 as well.) Trump has attacked America’s Educational royalty and, sadly, these institutions (Harvard, Columbia, Brown, etc.) have “bent the knee” in several instances (to the shame of the institutions) and they (Trump administration) are dismantling the Education Department to the fullest degree possible without Congressional approval. (Most of this is being done with Executive orders – and a cowardly republican Congress)

They are aggressively attacking our MSM – with some of the most prominent also “bending the knee.” This is another key part of turning a democracy into a fascist government – gaining CONTROL of the media. So far, both CBS and ABC have succumbed to Trump’s attacks – putting their profits ahead of the country’s interests – and there’s a HOST of other top corporations that have “bent the knee” in the interests of almost unimaginable profits over unimaginable damage to the country. Of course, this corporate/government “partnership” was already well formed before Trump 2.0 – it’s been evolving since the day Ronald Reagan took the oath of office. However, not only is CBS’s parent Paramount succumbing to Trumpism – but, with the inclusion of Larry Ellison as the de facto owner we’re now seeing even more consolidation.

CBS/Paramount (which has already taken an extreme “right turn”) is attempting to purchase Warner Brothers – which includes HBO, Turner broadcasting, and CNN – that would catapult Mr. Ellison into a Rupert Murdoch role in our “information bubble.” In fact, it’s both Murdoch and Ellison who were the benefactors of Trump’s “saving” TikTok. So, we all know what Murdoch has succeeded in doing (speaking of destroying our education) with Fox “news,” now you have Ellison, (f)Elon Musk (Xwitter), Zuckerberg (Meta – Facebook, Instagram, What’s App), Sundar Pichai (Google), Tim Cook (Apple), and Peter Theil (Palantir) among the CEO’s who’ve “invested” MILLIONS into Trump and his fascist regime – sadly, the list is much longer – and, just give a quick thought to how much information they control. Do you really believe they set their algorithms in support of democracy?

This all just so you understand I don’t call Trump and his administration fascist on a whim. It’s all right in front of all of us. (By the way, I didn’t mention much about the requirement of racism to be a “block” in the fascist state – but, just on que the other day VP JD Vance was speaking (somewhere) and said thanks to the Trump administration “you no longer have to apologize for being white.” I could go on, but I rest my case! Yikes!!!

I keep trying to figure out how to remember thoughts I get at various times when I’m not right in front of my computer and I don’t appear to be high enough at the “tech” level to pull this off. But, there is one thought I had over the past couple of days – and, keep in mind, I believe ALL the daily scourge of Trump scandals are somewhat aimed to keep “we the people’s” minds off the Epstein files – yet, if you remember, when Trump was getting his “absolute immunity” from the (pathetic) SCOTUS, one of the questions placed to Trump’s own lawyer was “if Trump ordered Seal Team Six to kill an opponent could he be prosecuted? His lawyer responded, “Only if he’s IMPEACHED and convicted by the Senate can he be prosecuted.” Did the COURT agree with that (absurd) statement?

I point that out because, like I’ve been saying for a few months now, there is NO justification for MURDERING people off the coast of Venezuela (who are apparently aimed toward Suriname – the opposite direction from the U.S. – not to mention their boats are powered by OUTBOARD motors. Even IF these people were somehow heading to the U.S., which would take something like 20 refueling stops for the motors on these vessels that look like elongated ski boats, the appropriate remedy would be for the Coast Guard to stop them, confiscate their drugs (if that’s what’s on board), and arrest those on board to face justice. However, Trump has claimed “we the people” are going to KILL all of them (apparently, if he decides so) calling them narco terrorists and labeling them “enemy combatants.” (Does that remind you of Bush/Cheney? Oh yes, they “just” TORTURED them)

Clearly, though, blowing up these boats and KILLING ALL the people on board is MURDER because there is NO declaration of war. Trump and Hegseth have now BOTH gone so far as to order a SECOND strike (actually I think it was more than one additional strike) KILLING two survivors of the first strike from September 2nd – a CLEAR violation of the Geneva Conventions following WW II, and clearly a violation of the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) that calls such a strike a WAR CRIME. (While Trump is throwing around the “sedition” word, aimed at six members of Congress urging our Military personnel to NOT follow illegal orders) NAZI’S were executed for this. And, while both Trump and Hegseth are attempting to throw Admiral Mitch Bradley “under the bus” – and he does have culpability – the “buck stops at the top – and it runs through both of them. They don’t seem to remember all their public comments that are ON TAPE. They will NOT be able to run away from this.

The irony of my point here is those ordered to carry out these extrajudicial MURDERS have been members of “Seal Team Six.” I point this out because, so far, I haven’t seen one pundit or member of the public media pointing out – as they suggest Trump is “likely to have immunity from any future prosecution” – certainly, well maybe NOT so fast. Here’s a scenario I would posit. Suppose, for example, the American people overwhelmingly vote democrats into control of the House AND Senate – a hypothetical, for sure, (if we even have an election) but just give it a thought. If Trump would be IMPEACHED and, somehow convicted in the Senate, based on Trump’s own lawyer he could then reasonably be held CRIMINALLY liable. I can hope can’t i? Oh yes, though in Hegseth (if it hasn’t already happened by then) AND members of “Seal Team Six” who chose NOT to refuse an illegal order they would also be liable. (See the “Seditious Six”)

Now, I don’t want to go too far without circling back to Epstein. I recently finished reading Virginia Giuffre’s memoir about her experiences as an Epstein “sex slave” – really, in parts very difficult to read because it’s hard not to get angry, and, also, I found nothing in the book where she claimed Trump wasn’t involved. To be fair, she also didn’t claim he was. However, during the course of the book she “identified,” “billionaire#1,” “Billionaire #2,” and “Billionaire #3,” Plus “The Prime Minister” (which I surmised to have been from Israel). Toward the end of the book she wrote that the reason she didn’t identify some of these incredibly RICH people is because they were threatening to bankrupt her with lawsuits. She was genuinely afraid of Epstein, Maxwell, and several of the creeps she was “trafficked” to.

Most people know about Prince Andrew (I guess I should say formerly “Prince”) who’s been “shamed” by UK royalty as much as they’re capable. He’s in the book because his relationship with Epstein became public not through Ms. Giuffre, but some other “channel.” She was “connected” to him when photos of him with his arm around her became public – maybe while they were on the “island.”

As I remember the book (remember I’m almost as old as Trump) it was Andrew’s attacks on Ms. Giuffre which helped motivate her to participate in the backlash that now includes those MANY victims who are demanding the release of the files. And, if Trump thinks the DOJ can “scrub” his name and those of his “buddies” out of the files, there are multiple people who’ve seen the files (including the daughter of James Comey) PLUS the victims say, “We know the names, the lady who helped Ms. Giuffre said she knows the names, and there’s the Epstein estate which doesn’t appear to be willing to hide anything.

Somehow Epstein accrued an estate valued at OVER half a BILLION dollars at the time of his death (more on that in a minute) and members of Congress (mainly democrats) are busy “following the money.” Who all was paying Epstein large amounts of money and why? That might answer a lot of questions right there. OK, back to his death. Now, I don’t want to insinuate anything (I learned this copout from Trump) but, I’m sure you remember how Trump feels about “rats” – those who “squeal” to the cops. Well, one of Epstein’s emails (my take) implied both Epstein and Maxwell thought Trump may have been a “rat.” Plus, Epstein clearly claimed he felt he was the one who could “bring Trump down.” (This email written during Trump 1.0 before Epstein was arrested)

Now, again, I’m not suggesting anything. Epstein very well may have hanged himself. And, the over 3 1/2 minutes of jailhouse video missing may very well have been a coincidence. But, Epstein’s brother sure had some questions. In fact, he hired an expert pathologist to examine Epstein’s body after the autopsy and he disagreed with the coroner. According to Ms. Giuffre this pathologist said Epstein’s broken neck was consistent with Homicide. Now, I know I’ve pointed out here how, over the years, I’ve likened Trump’s actions to a mob boss and I don’t think it will ever be revealed if there was something “untoward” that happened during that missing 3 1/2 minutes. So, we’ll all just have to speculate. Maybe after everything is out from the files there will be more information about who, if anyone, wanted Epstein dead.

One more thing, “Sleepy Donny Trump” has been dozing off in the middle of Cabinet meetings, among other places, (was Biden regularly doing that?) and, as someone almost his age I can attest to the need for a nap or two a day (although even I start way before 12 noon and go well past 5 PM). Maybe that’s because Trump has to rest up in case after watching all the late night TV making fun of him he needs his energy for Tweeting fits lasting well into the wee hours. He says some of his most memorable stuff during these hours. Like ordering Pam Bondi to hurry up and get James Comey, Letisha James, and Adam Schiff INDICTED. Saying, they’re “guilty as hell.” Virtually ASSURING each of them they will get their cases thrown out if Bondi’s Bumblers can ever get an indictment that sticks for over a week or two.

Apparently, they’ve recruited an attorney from Missouri, highly regarded I’m sure with a high level of moral “clarity,” to get Ms. James “re-indicted.” The first problem is the new Grand Jury, impaneled in a different area, returned what’s called a “no bill.” That means this attorney couldn’t get a grand jury – many suggest you can get a grand jury to indict a “ham sandwich” – to indict Ms. James. Case closed? Right? Not yet! Apparently, it appears this dude is looking for another location with another grand jury to give it attempt #3. I have to wonder how many times they’ll do this? (“We the people” are paying for all this nonsense) Of course, virtually every legal “expert” I’ve read/listened to says the case, if they can find a jury to indict it, will be thrown out before trial for possibly several reasons. (Not the least being Trump’s own words) Some of the government attorneys pursuing this (and, keep in mind scores have refused to touch it) have been referred to as nincompoops! They also could face court ordered sanctions.

And, don’t get me wrong here – I don’t want to make light of all the STUPID which is going on in Trumpworld, because the Project 2025 fascists who are the puppet masters are deadly serious. They are eviscerating the federal government in order to fill it with loyalists that will take years to ferret out. They’ve got many of the top corporate CEO’s (who care only about how much MONEY they’ve accumulated) kissing Trump’s ass. Top law firms, Top universities, and, of course, a right wing propaganda network aimed at well over half of the American public have willingly “bent the knee.” They’ve brought public education to ITS knees in many parts of the country – a requirement for fascism and they are implementing a racist attack on “black and brown” folk in America that would make Hitler and Goebbels blush. They are succeeding at turning America into a fascist state – and, by most accounts, we have until November of 2026 to turn this around.

For months I’ve been suggesting Trump and his puppet masters have no intention of there being “free and fair” elections in 2026. If there are elections at all. Many are suggesting Trump’s push of American troops into American cities is just a precursor of things to come. In fact, I don’t think the fanatical MAGAts will care whether we have elections in 2026 – if republicans look like sure losers (and they do at least at this time) Trump will think why do we need elections? Now, lots can happen between now and then and maybe MAGAts will actually find WAR CRIMES and starting a war (with Venezuela) and being a pedopresident not so palatable – who knows? I stated above what COULD be the result of “free and fair” elections in 2026 and maybe those in MAGAville are actually seeing the “light.” (Apparently MTG has)

In a month the American Health Care system is going to be hit hard with republican incompetence. Yes, I know this is what those behind Project 2025 want (right wingers have lamented health care and social services since the day FDR signed Social Security into law). Think of all the MAGAts on Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA and January 1st will be the beginning of a very bad period unless republicans agree with democrats to extend the ACA subsidies. My daughter has been advised her insurance will go up around $5000 next year. How many can afford that, or, in some cases, much more. This will affect not only the ACA, but also Medicare, and private health insurance rates. It’s going to get ugly and It will ALL be on Trump and the republicans. (There could even be another “shutdown” around January 20th, 2026. Maybe they’ll introduce their “concept of a plan”)

There are many other ways Trump and his sycophants are attempting to undermine our constitution and lead us to fascism – maybe the most obvious would be the SCOTUS. Just today, they overturned a lower court ruling which blocked the Texas “gerrymander” as based on race and violating (what’s left of) section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in a 6-3 ruling with all six “conservatives” apparently thinking we’ve solved the “race problem.” Rumors have it that once the “dust” settles it’s possible Trump’s scheme to “rig” the election could royally backfire. That said, it’s been the Court right at the forefront of granting greater and greater POWER for the president – a scheme I believe started in the 1970’s and sped up when Sam Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts were appointed to the Court – directly leading to the Citizen’s United decision – and, when democrats bailed on Hillary Clinton in the so-called “battleground states” in the 2016 election, the “door” was open for Trump’s three appointments to the court. Their culpability continues and will for another 20, or so years. (It’s not hard for me to blame democrats for this)

People like me could write for days about all the CRIMINAL conduct coming out of this “White House” which is exactly what they want. So, I’m going to conclude here with TWO issues Trump and his puppet masters will be trying to get the minds of “we the people” aimed elsewhere in the days and weeks to come and that would be “MURDER in the Caribbean” and, what I’ll call the pedopresidency. I hope that what’s left of the “liberal media” will keep the pressure up on BOTH the extra-judicial KILLINGS in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific (including the “War Crimes” accusation re: the MURDER of the “shipwrecked two”) AND, of course, the Epstein files. Trump is neck deep in BOTH of them and wants to deflect in any way possible. Don’t fall for it. Stay tuned….

Final Thought: There’s one more place I hope “we the people” can keep the pressure on. It’s been reported Trump HATES being compared to Joe Biden. (Of course, Id say there’s no comparison, Biden is a competent and honorable man and had masterfully pulled America out of the combination of a mismanaged pandemic and an ILLEGAL invasion of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin – the world’s #1 FASCIST) Keep the pressure (and jokes) on about Trump’s continual falling asleep in meetings with dignitaries AND with his cabinet. Also, keep up the pressure pointing out the bruising on his right hand (when that happened to my Mom it was leukemia) and what people are referring to as his “kanckles.” Along with his absurd rhetorical episodes the man is clearly losing it. Yikes!!!

I have to admit: As a Christian I’m called to “love my neighbor.” I’ve just NOT been able to cause myself to feel ANY love for Trump, Vance, Stephen Miller (maybe the worst), Russel Vought, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, “Ice Barbie” (I can’t right now remember her name), Linda McMahon, Greg Abbott, Ron DeSantis, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Matt Gaetz, and the list goes on. I tell myself I shouldn’t refer to the rank and file “MAGAts” in that way, because I know many of them and I actually do have love for them. I don’t blame them – they, almost all of them, watch either Fox “news” or “Newsmax” almost all day long, or worse, listen to Steve Bannon. (Another pal of Epstein) I’ve said from the start (almost 10 years ago) Trump will succeed only until the republicans have had enough of his narcissistic LYING and his tanking of the economy. When they feel their own futures are in jeopardy, just then, maybe we’ll see a reckoning.

Shortly after America’s “Seal Team Six” blew up a boat in the Caribbean that Pete Hegseth claimed had 11 “Narco terrorists” on board plus a cargo of drugs headed for the United States I wrote here that this was questionable at best, and OBVIOUSLY an illegal order. Within a day or so Hegseth was on Fox “news” bragging about the strike and pointing out he was watching it as it happened. There was a video released showing the boat cruising in the water (looked more like an elongated ski boat to me) along with the “hit” the boat took from a projectile dropped (likely Lazer guided) turning what was left of the boat into a burning inferno.

What the released video DIDN’T show was the two possible survivors who were clinging to the remains of the boat who were then EXECUTED with another “projectile.” Now, don’t get me wrong here because I believed (and still believe) the original strike was ILLEGAL. Worse than that the MURDER of the two apparent survivors amounts to a “war crime” despite the FACT there’s been no declaration of war with Venezuela where these (now dead) people originated. (Nazi’s were executed for similar actions after WW II) Up until today there have been over 80 people MURDERED in boats in the Caribbean (or Eastern Pacific) for allegedly carrying illegal drugs – in this instance, if that’s true, the drugs would be Cocaine.

Now, picture in your mind drugs being “imported” into the U.S. across one of our border crossings with Mexico – in this case picture the drugs being cocaine. Would whoever it was bringing the drugs across the border be EXECUTED on the spot? Wouldn’t they be arrested and tried in a court of law? Also, keep in mind the real danger of drugs coming into the U.S. would be Fentanyl not cocaine. It’s Fentanyl that has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of drug overdoses in America. There’s another interesting part of this “story” which adds to the pathetic absurdity of it all – Trump just pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, former Honduran president, who was sentenced to 45 years in prison for trafficking around 500 TONS (one MILLION pounds) of Cocaine into the U.S. So much for the “Narco terrorist” justification for MURDERING over 80 “suspected” people in possession of cocaine. Is Trump this STUPID or is he simply failing to get advice on what a bad look it is to pardon this dude?

One more thing. These suspected drug running boats would have needed to make several re-fueling stops in order to reach the American mainland. (They were operating via outboard motors) Therefore, it is hard to postulate they were headed anywhere other than maybe Trinidad or some other place in the Caribbean – and, if somehow they had supplies of fuel to get them to Florida is it rational to expect them to bring these alleged drugs to a port somewhere in Florida on these motor boats? If that was possible, what would it say about our Coast Guard or the Florida authorities. What I’m saying is NOTHING in the government’s explanation of these extra judicial MURDERS makes sense other than to call them MURDERS.

For years I’ve read in several different places that Vladimir Putin was operating the world’s largest organized crime syndicate from Moscow in Russia. Well, those of us paying attention to Trump through the years know that Putin is likely Trump’s idol. The reasons for this remain a secret to me (pee tape? – lots of rumors of “kompromat”) but Trump can’t seem to hide his predilection toward mob bosses. (AKA Juan Orlando Hernández above) He hasn’t hidden his contempt for what he calls “rats” – that would be people who agree to tell the authorities the TRUTH when involved in sketchy situations – like Trump’s former “fixer” Michael Cohen. Do you find it curious that the man who calls himself the top legal officer in the country claiming you’re a “rat” if you tell the truth to authorities who are investigating criminal conduct? Or, is it just me?

Of course, none of this SHOULD be surprising to anyone who’s been paying attention to Trump since he came down that escalator back in 2015. He’s been riding “roughshod” over our constitution ever since. In Trump 1.0 he actually had people working in his administration who believe in the constitution which seems to have P’oed enough right wing sycophants (like those involved in Project 2025) to make sure those people, or others who think like them, are not there in Trump 2.0. In other words, the guardrails are off. This for a 34 times FELON (credibly accused of about 50 more alleged FELONIES) who inspired an attempted coup by instigating an insurrection on the nation’s Capitol. To PROVE he has no idea what all this means Trump has accused six democrats of “sedition” for reminding military personnel of their obligation to refuse “illegal orders.” (like those referenced above)

So, should anyone in America be surprised that when “we the people” elect a 34 times FELON that he treats the constitution as a “suggestion” (like I’ve heard mentioned by others) instead of rules we are all obligated to follow? Should we be surprised that the level of corruption is off the charts? (I’ve read Trump’s “take” of the corruption is into the several BILLIONS of dollars – and, he wants another $230 MILLION because he was indicted after Trump 1.0 – for what was alleged to be PROVABLE criminal conduct) Honestly, considering the preceding few pardons, his ARROGANT corruption is a bit embarrassing. It reflects poorly on “we the people” who elected him.

Here’s the writing I see “on the wall.” Democrats are going to take control of the House of Representatives in November of 2026 (unless Trump figures out how to prevent a “free and fair” election – which is entirely possible) and he’s going to be IMPEACHED for the third time – I can actually envision more than one more IMPEACHMENT – unless the Senate FINALLY votes to convict. The lawlessness has been so brazen since virtually the day he took (lied about) the oath of office that the challenge will be “where to start.” Personally, I think a great place to start would be the MURDERS of these “boat people” in the Caribbean. But, what about the crypto scams? What about the jet? What about the shakedowns of American corporations? (Is there still an emoluments clause in the Constitution?) The list could go on well longer than my fingers would last.

Just like I wrote on my “No Kings” protest sign any IMPEACHMENT must include JD Vance. I want to say Trump is mentoring Vance into becoming a prolific LIAR but I feel that doesn’t give Vance credit for his own willingness to LIE out of ambition. I mean there are several republican members of the Senate who say one thing (about Trump) out of one side of their mouths and, then, when the cameras are rolling say something that’s the opposite – out of fear. Vance used to be one of them. (Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, Marko Rubio, etc. etc.) But Vance has proven himself willing to say anything to anyone, even if it’s so absurd he’s got to hope Trump doesn’t pick up on it. Like for example, the immigrants “eating the cats and doges” in the past election. (Further evidence of how ridiculously stupid “we the people” can be)

Speaking of the MURDERS of the boat people mentioned above I have to feel Trump feels perfectly safe from any future prosecution – which could be facing others in the chain of command. I don’t know how anyone could miss the irony here because, apparently, it was “Seal Team Six” who carried out the extrajudicial slayings. Are they clear from responsibility, is Hegseth free from prosecution – once democrats control the “White House?” I think we’ll know how people are feeling when the next wave of Trump pardons come out. Will he pardon Admiral Bradley, who the “White House” today was “throwing under the buss?” Stay tuned!!!

Final Thought: I’ve been writing for some time now that Trump was going to do whatever was necessary to keep “we the people’s” attention off the Epstein files. There’s a new scandal every day, but “war crimes?” That seems to be getting people’s attention. Not the FACT Trump’s approval is down to around 36% in favor and 60% opposed – that’s a negative 24 point spread (for you non math people) – but, that’s not getting too much attention. “We the people” don’t seem to be approving of Trump in virtually ANY category. Then, what about the economy? Isn’t that something which will take people’s attention off Epstein?

Well, I have to admit when Trump took (lied about) the oath of office I predicted he would TANK the economy within six months. Several months ago I admitted I was wrong and amended my prediction to one year. That one year will be up on January 20th, 2026 and, honestly, I hope I’m wrong again. However, it’s beginning to look more and more like I might be correct. (this time) This I can guarantee you – it’s just a matter of time until Trump has succeeded in what could be called his seventh bankruptcy. He’s been shaking down corporations, law firms, and elite universities (to their sad future the complicity will be embedded in American History – which goes for the cowardly members of Congress as well) which reminds me of 1930’s Nazi Germany.

I’m not a fan of social media – seems to me the division in America dates right back to the beginning of the Social Media “boom.” So, now we have an oligarchy full of what I call the “tech bros” who will seemingly do ANYTHING for money. What we’re looking at is the bulk of the American “media” coming at us via these apps – like Google, Xwitter, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), and TikTok. TikTok was supposed to be “gone” unless offloaded to American interests – well, after something like nine months after its “drop dead” date Trump ushered in a “deal” for Rupert Murdoch (ie Fox “news”) and Larry Ellison the owner of Paramount via his son. Just assures further right wing control of our media.

Then there’s Peter Thiel and Palantir, the government’s intelligence/AI snooping software that we’re supposed to trust to be minding their appropriate business. Thiel, like his former partner in PayPal (f)Elon Musk, has figured out how to gain BILLIONS in government contracts and is sucking up to Trump. Maybe their origins make a little sense to me, but presently (knowing Thiel’s relationship to Trump) it feels a bit dodgy to think they’re not snooping on people like me. I mean, it appears there’s little Palantir can’t do when it comes to snooping – and “we the people” should be on high alert. Yikes!!!

Can Pam Bondi Succeed in having the DOJ “scrub” any reference to our TWICE IMPEACHED, 34 Times a FELON, and INDICTED for another 50, adjudicated as a sexual predator, and found to be a serial fraudster president from the files? In the recently released emails it was reported his name was mentioned over 1600 times! Yikes!

I often get thoughts I believe I should write down but I’m driving some place and by the time I get home my aged mind has forgotten them. Just yesterday I was thinking I should figure out a way to record those thoughts for when I get around my computer (which, apparently, is as old as I am in computer think) and, if you’ve been around here most of my thoughts center around my lifelong interest in America’s government. (At least I remembered that much) With Trump as our so-called president it’s hard for me to think of just about anything else these days. (Just the way he likes it)

In the past week he’s sicked his right wing militia minded base on a range of politicians from Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) to a Senator who flew a space shuttle and a member of Congress who was in the Special Forces while serving abroad during war. Naturally, there are now members of Congress who oppose Trump (MTG has been a strong supporter up until recently) who are receiving vile death threats. Trump actually suggested as much for the group of Congressional leaders who simply made a video encouraging members of the military to honor their oaths and refuse any orders which may be illegal. Trump has referred to this video as “seditious” and suggested these members of Congress should be arrested and “put to death.”

When I heard those words coming from Trump’s mouth (in a Fox “news” interview) and saw them in one of Trump’s posts to his failing social media outlet all I could think of was his use of the Nazi strategy of “projection.” (Any accusation is a confession) Here’s the TRUTH when it comes to SEDITION. Several members of the so-called “Proud Boys” and members of the (absurdly mislabeled) “Oathkeepers” were convicted of “SEDITION” after Trump’s attempted coup following the 2020 election. Trump pardoned them along with hundreds more insurrectionists – about the only significant thing he did on “day 1.”

He didn’t solve the war in GAZA or stop the ILLEGAL invasion of Ukraine by his idol Vladimir Putin – the WAR CRIMINAL he gave the “red carpet” treatment despite the WARRANT for his ARREST by the International Criminal Court. He didn’t lower the “groceries” on day 1 – about the only thing he accomplished was pardoning about 1600 of those (using the auto pen for his signature, by the way) who attacked our Capitol on January 6, 2021 at his urging, chanting “hang Mike Pence.” That was SEDITION! Urging members of the military to honor their pledge to the constitution is NOT sedition!

With Trump there’s always more – every day there’s more in order to keep “we the people’s” minds off what is actually happening to our government via him and his Project 2025 puppet masters. Lately, Trump’s number one JOB is doing whatever he can to keep people from finding out about his (likely) participation in Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific sex ring. I mean I don’t see how you could be GOOD friends with him for 15 years (see Trump’s birthday card to Epstein on his 50th birthday plus public comments at the time) and have no idea what he was doing to young girls (and young women). I just finished reading Virginia Giuffre’s memoir detailing Epstein’s sex trafficking ring and I don’t know how you could go into one of his homes, with the walls lined with photos of young naked girls and suggest you weren’t aware of his conduct. And, Trump was often in Epstein’s homes based on public reporting.

Of course, Trump is the master at looking you in the eye and LYING as if he assumes you believe he’s telling the truth – and, he’ll keep doing it until he thinks he’s being believed. (Another of the Nazi “tricks” he’s mastered – the “Big Lie Theory” – he’s STILL claiming the 2020 election was “stolen” five years later) While it’s true Ms. Giuffre doesn’t accuse Trump of any wrongdoing in her book, she’s careful to point out she doesn’t “name names” because some of the participants in the sex Epstein was orchestrating are very “powerful” men who’ve threatened legal action which would bankrupt her in the process. For example, she refers to Billionaire #1, Billionaire #2, and Billionaire #3 along with a “prime minister” among other titles. Naming only a few who were already publicly known when she wrote the book.

And, remember, Epstein was at least 10 years into his “deplorable” actions by the time Ms. Giuffre (Roberts at the time) was “groomed” by Maxwell just as she was turning 17 years old. Ms. Giuffre was terribly vulnerable (based on her previous experiences) at that point and Epstein took full advantage of that vulnerability. We’ll likely never know the full extent of Trump’s interaction with her (Trump’s communication people claim that the person mentioned who spent a couple hours in Epstein’s home with Trump was actually Ms. Giuffre) and Trump is doing everything in his power to make sure we don’t know anything about his friendship with Epstein – a friendship leading Trump to reference their relationship in his alleged 50th “birthday card” with a last sentence of – “A pal is a wonderful thing, Happy Birthday-and may every day be another wonderful secret.” WTF?

We don’t hear much anymore about that “birthday card” – because “we the people” have an attention span of maybe a week or two. But, when you look at that “card” (in the outline of a naked woman with Trump’s signature apparently the “pubic hairs”) it’s not difficult to understand why Trump has fought so hard to keep the “Epstein files” secret. I still believe, like he always manages to do, Trump has dragged this out long enough for the DOJ lawyers to “scrub” Trump’s name from the files – although, in the process those files have been exposed to MANY members of the DOJ (including FBI agents) and, who knows, maybe some of them have some “wonderful secrets.”

Remember, just a few months ago “we the people” were assured there weren’t really any files worth being made public – no “there there” according to ultra sycophants Pam Bondi and Kash Patel. Well, Virginia Giuffre KNEW the names of many of Epstein’s “guests,” the lady who co-wrote the book with her says she KNOWS the names, and there’s a plethora of other Epstein victims who “know the names” that, no matter what the DOJ does in the future, the NAMES are going to be coming out.

Prince Andrew’s name had become public so it wasn’t going to be part of the “wonderful secrets” but, still, he was attempting to intimidate Ms. Giuffre in the ways powerful men ALWAYS attempt to intimidate their victims, but, it simply seemed to make her more determined to expose Epstein, Maxwell, and what they were doing. From my reading of the book Andrew’s attempts to hide his involvement ultimately led to the lawsuit Ms. Maxwell filed against him. One of her final actions.

In the end there was a settlement (if you want to know why, read her book) which included an apology from the FORMER prince and led to his final fall from “royal” grace this past year. Of course, Virginia Giuffre is no longer with us – the reliving of the trauma OVER and OVER again apparently took the final toll on her leading to her suicide (In the book she recounts two failed attempts at killing herself) so that chapter is done for good. But, there’s MUCH more to learn. And, many more victims determined for the TRUTH to be made public.

And, if you still don’t believe Trump will do whatever it takes to keep his name from being published in these files you haven’t been paying attention. With that, I have to add one more “juicy” detail coming from Giuffre’s book: Epstein was said to have killed himself in prison (shortly after being taken off “suicide watch” and coinciding with about 3 1/2 minutes of the jail’s video system going blank) by hanging himself – despite two guards supposedly watching him regularly at all times. Epstein’s brother had the autopsy “double checked” by an expert and the result was his expert claiming the broken bones in Epstein’s neck were consistent with “homicide.”

If you checked out the recent emails released by Epstein’s estate there was one in there where Epstein was pointing out he was the one who could bring Trump down. Now, I’m not suggesting anything – I’m just looking at the pieces which are part of the public puzzle when I remind (anyone) about Trump’s disdain for what he referred to as “rats” after Michael Cohen – his former lawyer and “fixer” (what does”fixer” mean?) – was arrested and was planning to testify to Congress. Trump attempted to keep Cohen in prison to prevent his testimony and his first book from coming out. With Epstein saying he could “bring Trump down” you don’t think…………. Remember, I’m not suggesting anything other than it seemed Epstein’s demise was strange – unusual – suspicious. Apparently Epstein has had BLACKMAIL material on a LOT of big shots.

Getting back to my original point, will Trump’s attack on MTG and the Congressional leaders urging their counterparts in the military to honor their constitutional oaths be enough to change the narrative away from the Epstein files. Personally, I found it ironic Trump would accuse anyone else of SEDITION after his attempted coup on January 6th, 2021. I would think he’d not be wanting to cause people to look up the meaning of SEDITION – not only in the face of what happened five years ago, but what is happening now in what has been referred to as a “slow motion coup” by people who’ve read Project 2025.

Here’s a question I have: Was the republican “revolt” (probably too strong a word) regarding the vote to release the Epstein files just a minor “blip” or is Trump actually losing a grip on these republican members of Congress who’ve been abandoning their place as an equal branch of government – part of the founders genius plan of “checks and balances” to the constitution? Of all people, it appears MTG may be the leader of the republican members of Congress who have had enough of Trump’s SEDITIOUS behavior. Time will tell. Because, eventually “we the people” WILL see the release of Epstein’s “files.” How many times will Trump’s name appear? Stay tuned!

Final Thought: I can’t believe I’m going to write this, but I have to add a bit about Marjorie Taylor Greene who I listened to for a few minutes tonight. I’m not interested in rehashing stuff she’s said (and I’ve written about) over the past few years because all along I’ve said Trump’s reign of terror will end when the republican party has had enough of his mafia style of “leadership.” I’ve been calling Trump a “fascist” (based on the American Heritage Dictionary’s definition and my own knowledge of history) since well before the end of his first term in the “White House.”

Personally, I’ve been surprised (almost shocked) that it’s Ms. Greene who has been the first (maybe second to Thomas Massie) republican to speak in terms of what is best for “we the people” – and, I’m talking about working class and below. She has been saying some things which make sense – and, trust me, in my mind her and I don’t agree on much. (Although, tonight she said some words I definitely agree with relating to Jesus) But, I welcome ANY of the people who’ve been sucked into Trump’s CULT who break away whether we agree on much or not. In fact, at this point, I’d love to sit down with Ms. Greene and discuss our differences with the idea that would be the best way to suggest solutions to the problems facing our nation today.

And, I have to give her full credit that she’s resigning from the House on January 5th of 2026. She doesn’t want to put her family through a re-election campaign with Trump spending MILLIONS in an attempt to unseat her. As I listened to her tonight it didn’t appear I was listening to a QAnon nut job – as she’s often been referred – but to a practical woman who is actually putting her family first. Was her comments about her belief in God something other than the white nationalist “Christian nationalism” point of view – well, to me, at this point that’s up to her. I have to say I hope not.

It remains to be seen how I end up viewing Ms. Greene – because, like I said, our views couldn’t be farther apart based on what I’ve learned from her in the past – and, she’s done some things I’ve found repulsive – but, not lately. I hope she ends up in the same “camp” as Liz Cheney – a staunch conservative who’s character ends up being based on the courage of sticking to real principles over the love of her job. I admire Ms. Cheney because her integrity was more important to her than “staying in office.” I hope Ms. Greene ends up following the same path. Anyone who is part of MAGA should be welcomed if they decide to return to “Earth one.”

Up until the 1970’s and the Lewis Powell Memo to the Chamber of Commerce – which has led to the corporate/government “partnership,” the foundation of fascism, American conservatives and liberals could work together to solve problems. Trump’s recent state dinner for MBS of Saudi Arabia with virtually EVERY “tech bro” and other corporate sycophant sitting at the table is just one more example of the challenge ahead for “we the people.” (See the $350 MILLION ballroom) We MUST recognize the threat to our republic! We WON’T win the battle to save it without support of people like Ms. Greene who have the guts to pull themselves out of the MAGA cult and come together so we can argue about conservative v liberal stuff later!

Personally, I’m hoping there will be a flood of republicans who will follow Ms. Greene’s (and Ms. Cheney’s) lead. Not necessarily resigning their position, but fighting to defend our constitution – just as the Congressional leaders mentioned above have suggested to members of the military. If Congress retakes its rightful role as part of the “checks and balances” our founders intended this nation will – possibly still in my lifetime – regain its role as the leading supporter of democracy in the world. I can dream can’t it?

I read today how Laura Loomer, one of Trump’s female “influencers,” is, in essence, accusing Thomas Massie, republican who is key to the releasing of the Epstein files, (although I’ll believe it when I see them released) of killing his wife. Of course, she doesn’t come right out and say it, (in Trump tradition) she is just saying “it’s bizarre” and it’s a “serious question” regarding the passing of Massie’s first wife. “How did Massie’s wife die? Is there a police report? Is there an autopsy report?”  She asks before adding,  “Why is this such a mystery? I’d like to know. I find it to be bizarre and I always have. Now there’s a much younger woman in the picture.”

Well, actually, it’s NOT a mystery. Massie’s wife, according to the coroner, died due to “respiratory complications of chronic autoimmune myopathy,” Do you think this has come up now because of the impending House vote on releasing the “Epstein files?” So, I’ll do Ms. Loomer one better. How did Jeffrey Epstein really die? Do you really believe the missing 3 1/2 minutes in the video surveillance at the jail where he was held was a coincidence? Do you really believe Trump, in the words of Epstein, didn’t know he was the one who could bring Trump down? And, do you really believe it would be beneath Trump’s “moral clarity” to, you know, – OK, not accusing anyone of anything, but, was there an autopsy? If so, where are the results? (and, who performed it?) “This is such a mystery.”

Trust me on this. Trump will continue doing whatever he can to prevent the release of the total Epstein “files.” Remember, there’s a “treasure trove” of photographs and video evidence. I’m reading Virginia Giuffre’s memoir and Epstein was video taping the “stuff” going on in his homes – apparently so he could potentially blackmail people. (Trump? Just asking) I’ve seen more than one report regarding at least one photo with Trump and several partially clad YOUNG girls sitting on his lap. If you’ve been reading any of my posts of the previous 10 years you know I find Trump “deplorable.” That said, it’s even worse after reading 3/4 of Giuffre’s memoir.

It’s true she (at least to this point in the book) doesn’t make direct accusations regarding Trump although she references “Billionaire #1” – which I took to mean Trump – my inference. She only names a very few of the people who she was actually “trafficked” to because she was afraid. She was afraid of Epstein and Maxwell – Epstein had warned her (like he apparently did with all his victims) about his connections to the authorities and that something “bad” would happen to her if she told anyone about what was going on in his house. He said things like he knew where her little brother went to school. Of the people she did identify the one which sticks out the most to me, of course, was Prince Andrew.

Based on Trump’s actions in trying to prevent these files from coming out the logical conclusion is he’s a lot deeper into this SORDID mess than is even known at this point. The photos of him and Epstein, the comments attributed to both of them (Trump saying they were good friends for 15 years, Epstein saying they were “best buds” for 10 years), the “birthday card” from Trump to Epstein in 2002, and NOW the FACT Trump’s name has shown up over 1500 times in the recently released emails of Epstein makes it clear there’s more to this mystery – and, we all know Trump is going to do whatever he can to deflect or deny that he even knew Epstein. It’s almost like watching a movie about the mob.

There are those saying, according to Giuffre, she never saw Trump doing anything with any of the girls. Well, remember, Giuffre wasn’t introduced to Epstein until late 1999 and Epstein and Maxwell’s control over her ended sometime in 2002. Their horrendous conduct began something like 10 years prior. In the interim she was raped who knows how many times and there’s just one report of Trump spending a couple hours at Epstein’s house with “one of the girls” – the name redacted. However, since that email came out there are reports that girl was Giuffre. Well, what do you think Trump was doing with Giuffre for those two hours? Your guess is as good as mine. Talking about the success of the Trump Organization?

Virginia Giuffre isn’t the only person who has shared that the walls in Epstein’s homes were covered with photographs of YOUNG naked girls. It’s hard to imagine anyone spending much time there without having a clue what was happening. Go into a main room and right in the middle is a massage table. Huh? Even Trump’s Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, whose home shared a wall with Epstein’s in Manhattan, says he visited only once and that was enough.

He said as soon as he was in the room with the massage table him and his wife left immediately saying to one another this is “CREEPY.” Of course, there are no reports of Trump doing the same during the FIFTEEN years he claimed to be friends with Epstein. And the internet is full of photos to confirm their friendship – which started somewhere close to 1990 based on Trump’s original comments. (I have to believe Trump was in BOTH of Epstein’s homes – the one in Palm Beach and the one in Manhattan – at a minimum. Talk about CREEPY!

So, here’s the “64 thousand dollar question:” What is Trump going to do in order to save his ass? What is going to be the distraction? When the issue wasn’t as “hot” as it became once Adelita Grijalva put the 218th signature on the House’s “discharge petition” which will FORCE an up or down vote on whether to release the files Trump brought the National Guard into Washington DC. Well, that didn’t work. I’m going to bring up something I’d be better able to understand if I was a lawyer – but, if you noticed at the end of last week Trump ORDERED Pam Bondi – his subservient Attorney General (the biggest disgrace in the HISTORY of the Justice Department) – to investigate Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, and some other democrats regarding Epstein’s files. He seems to think people like me care about “party affiliation” when exposing the creeps who were raping these young girls.

Seems stupid and”tit for tat” on the surface. But, I believe it may be more sinister than that. I’ve heard a couple lawyers point out that the release of the files could potentially be blocked due to an “existing investigation.” Do you believe that will calm all the republicans who are planning to vote yes on the petition? Now he’s encouraging the House to vote for the discharge petition. Do you really believe he means that? My take is this “investigation” will somehow block the files from being released.

That discharge petition will cause the House to have an up or down vote on whether or not to release the files – all of them – and there are LOTS of files. (Apparently, when Epstein’s home was raided, the FBI confiscated several computer hard drives, several phones. lots of photos and videos, and who knows what else. Epstein was clearly a pervert. According to the old saying, “birds of a feather flock together.”

Now, I can’t bring myself to believe the reason Trump is working overtime trying to prevent the release of these files – which, just a few months ago AG Bondi and Kash Patel were assuring everyone there was no “there there” is because he’s not in them. (Flash alert: Now he’s saying “release the files” – which I take to mean he knows there’s going to be a “hitch”) Do you think they didn’t know how many times Trump’s name was in the files before the recent “tranche” of emails came out? Of course they knew – they’ve got them all.

One of the places where I miscalculated was believing Trump’s name was being “scrubbed” from the files in the possession of the FBI – but, I wasn’t aware that the Epstein estate was sitting on a “treasure trove” of evidence. For example, the “birthday book” was in their possession – and they’re not hiding anything from anyone. (If you haven’t seen Trump’s “birthday card” to Epstein, well, look it up online.)

Here’s the worst case scenario from my standpoint on what Trump is likely to do in order to change the narrative dominating the public airwaves – and, of course, the internet. He’s already given the order to blow up close to a couple dozen boats off the coast of Venezuela killing what is now close to 80 PEOPLE. Trump and Hegseth accuse these people of being drug smugglers – without evidence. And, even if they were “drug smugglers” – taking (maybe) cocaine to Trinidad – their boats couldn’t possibly make it to the U.S. – the LEGAL way to confront them would be to stop the boats (In U.S. waters), board them, and if they had the drugs Trump and Hegseth says they had – confiscate the drugs and arrest them if that would have been appropriate. (I’m not sure the U.S. has any LEGAL authority to police drug smugglers in international waters)

Next step for Trump – is it going to be starting a war with Venezuela? Will all the MAGAts in America just look the other way? What on earth is it going to take before Trump’s hard core base figures out he could care less about them. Especially, those in his base who rely on SNAP benefits, the ACA subsidies to be able to afford health insurance, or Medicaid for their health insurance. Are Trump’s supporters going to make the connection as the rural hospitals start closing? Are they noticing the declining Job market? I don’t think they can miss the increase in the cost of living – higher now than at the end of Biden’s administration and OBVIOUSLY prices have not come DOWN – not on “day one” or on day 250. What about the no wars policy?

Trump claims to have stopped EIGHT wars – and some in his base may be gullible enough to believe him – although he gets mixed up with the country’s names and, I’m sure, he has no idea where they’re located. He didn’t end the war in GAZA on “day one” and, sadly, his peace agreement there lasted just a few days – until Israel started BOMBING again. And, what about Ukraine? I’ve always said Trump is going to go down in American history right next to Benedict Arnold – but, in world history he’ll be compared (and possibly in a worst way) Neville Chamberlain due to his appeasement of Vladimir Putin. Many in Ukraine are DYING due to Trump’s inability to bring himself to send to Ukraine what they need to defend themselves. Sadly, I don’t believe he’ll choose to help Ukraine as a way to change the narrative he fears so much. He blames Ukraine on his first IMPEACHMENT. Let’s face it, it’s just a matter of time until “we the people” know the truth re: Epstein and Trump! Trump will fight this to the bitter end! Stay tuned!

Final Thought: Another HORRIBLE part of Trump’s “legacy” is going to be the number of people who DIED needlessly under his “watch.” We all knew about the bungling of the COVID-19 pandemic where, according to estimates I’ve read, anywhere from 200 to 500 THOUSAND Americans died because of his botched response. Hard to top that, right? Well, soon after Trump 2.0 was in it’s early stages Trump’s (at the time) co-president (f)Elon Musk disbanded USAID – America’s “Agency for International Development” – the agency which was feeding the poorest people around the world, that ran the PEPFAR program providing HIV medication saving THOUSANDS of lives in Africa (countries Trump refers to as “shit holes”), and many other life saving programs costing America far less than what was gained from the programs. The last estimate I read said over 600.000 people (mostly children) have DIED due to the shuttering of the agency and many estimates suggest the number of lives lost will surpass a MILLION by the end of the year.

Three more years of this is unthinkable to me, but “we the people” voted Trump and JD Vance (who may be worse) into a miserable four years and, if you’ve read Project 2025 as I have, you know their plans are for a lot more years than four. I know I shouldn’t call Trump supporters “MAGAts” – because likely most of them are hard working Americans who simply have been exposed to Fox “news” and other right wing media (remember, right wing corporations control about 90% if America’s media – and, it’s getting worse on the internet) These right wing outlets (as I’ve been pointing out here for years) use the propaganda techniques of the Nazi’s of the 1930’s. Why? Well, because it clearly works. Tell your LIES over and over until people believe they’re true. (Trump’s masterful at this) AND every accusation is an admission. (Projection) Lord help us! Yikes!!!

Sunday night, when I heard there were 8 democrats voting with republicans to re-open the government without ANYthing more than a “promise” for a vote on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) sometime in December (they meet for maybe 6 or 7 days in December, I too was outraged. That was, until I gave it a couple days and thought more about what appears to me to be the “big picture.’

First off, I realized this would require the House to end their nearly two month “vacation” on the orders of Speaker Johnson – clearly designed to stop any further Epstein disaster when it comes to Trump – so, Adelita Grijalva was going to be sworn in and, therefore, the so-called Epstein “discharge petition” would have the required 218th signature. Of course, that means in the near future the House is going to have to vote on requiring the “Epstein files” to be made public. And, apparently, it also allowed for the release of some of Epstein’s emails which suggest Trump to be complicit (to some degree) with Epstein’s evil bullshit. (I’ve been reading Victoria Giuffre’s memoir and both Epstein AND Maxwell are/were pure evil)

Secondly, I wasn’t fooling myself as to whether or not the republicans were going to give in any time soon on the ACA subsidies. I don’t question, for example, the concern about the SNAP benefits by some of these democrats and the issue of all the government employees fired (who got their jobs back) or working without paychecks – plus the condition of the airports and all the canceled flights. (I personally met a couple from Santa Barbara in California who were visiting my hometown, Vancouver, WA and had to rent a car in order to get home because their flight was canceled)

After thinking about it, and this seems a bit cold hearted on my part – in regard to the 6+% of Americans who are about to face HUGE increases in the cost of their health insurance – I came to the conclusion this might be the best case opportunity for these subsidies to be restored. Remember, they were taken away without a single democratic vote in the so-called BBB so it’s understandable democrats want to make their point. I believe they’ve made their point. In fact, should – as I expect – the December “vote” fail – I believe what takes place in January will be like a large weight around the necks of ALL the republicans who’ve refused to help the mostly lower income people who will be knocked off their health insurance by the payments which apparently will increase by 100 % or more. And, a significant number of these people will be Trump’s own voters. Plus, this reopening of the government only lasts until late January.

Naturally, it would be better to avoid this type of cruelly coming from our government to our own people (although with the military and ICE “goons” wearing masks in our streets it shouldn’t surprise anyone) but these increases could have “ripple” affects on the insurance costs of many others. OBTW – the $40 BILLION given to Argentina would have been enough to fund the subsidies for, I don’t know, a couple years or more. Just sayin…..

Back to my thoughts on Trump/Epstein the emails released today simply confirmed what people like me (paying attention to public information) didn’t question. (about Trump’s involvement) However, when emails from Epstein confirm Trump “knew about the girls” and had spent several hours in Epstein’s house with one of the girls (apparently Giuffre – based on at least a couple things I’ve seen) you can see why Trump is getting desperate. And why Maxwell SHOULD be getting nervous!

Without getting into the emails’ details here it appears to me the “dam” might be breaking. Trump was in the Situation Room (The Situation Room!!!) today attempting to get Lauren Boebert to pull her name off the discharge petition before Grijalva could sign it – once they had 218 that was it – no changes!)

Additionally, Ghislaine Maxwell should be sent back to the prison in Florida where she was removed after answering the “softball questions” from Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche. Clearly, she was LYING! And, so far it’s worked. Because, as far as anyone in Trump’s DOJ being concerned with her LYING, well, “don’t hold your breath.” Also, one of the emails, as I read it, suggested Trump maybe was a (as he himself would call it) “rat” because Epstein didn’t understand why Trump’s name never came up in the investigation against him.

Final Thought: Do you think Trump might spill the beans on someone else to save his own skin? Well, it appears to me Epstein and Maxwell were thinking along those lines. There’s going to be thousands more emails and files coming out in the near future and, keep in mind (if you’re someone like me who believes Pam Bondi has been working overtime to “scrub” Trump’s name from any files in the possession of the DOJ) that the Epstein estate has MOST of these files – or, at least many of them. That’s where Trump’s “artistic” birthday card to Epstein (in 2002) referencing their “secrets” came from in addition to the emails released today by democrats from the House Oversight Committee. Apparently, there’s several thousand more – so get ready for tomorrow! Stay tuned……

Oh yes! Trump, tonight, signed the bill to reopen the government and, surprise, surprise – he took no questions. He just got up and left the room. Maybe you understand why – he always takes questions doesn’t he?

Is JD Vance preparing himself to take over? OMG – even more reason for Dems to control Congress in 2027 – to IMPEACH Vance who, to me, is even worse than Trump. Yikes! Three more years of this!
